I mean, you will pay more than $10 for something you can do IRL? Lol yeah. Cool.
Guess I'll borrow it from my younger cousin (she's asking me all the time to dl expansion nr. 51829521 for her) and see if I can force sims to jump into a fire or off a tall building. Or maybe there will be vehicles? Man, that'd be cool to drive into a building!!
...But probably sims 3 = sims 1 stuff + sims 2 graphics and some stuff + 5 new items. Why put everything you can into a game, if you can just release 5819252109 expansions to it?
Already have cars actually in sims 2. also don't think sims 3 can be an expansion as they've totally remake (word choice) the create a sims system. they also "open up the map" when you load the game its going to be a whole neighbourhood instead of just that one house your sims is staying in. and they've finally included a ingame customaization system that you can make your wall, furniture, hair, i think an re-texture-able part to be re-texture-able. so far those are the words on their webpage and pretty much what suck is what RedStars Says "Sims 2 are so much fun ^^. The downside is that when the Sims 3 will come out it will just be...the Sims 3...no pets, no business, no seasons, no university."

now that they make a new system to the whole game, it means they can re-sell once more the same old expansion AGAIN *sigh* which just might make me not want to buy sims 3 at all, unless it comes with all the already done before expansion.

Oh and the bold part , no you cannot do what the sims do in real life lol. i'd like to see you try.

The only thing I really hope is a better way of building house, like putting objects on diagonal walls, windows that you can actually open or curtains that you can actually close xD.

The fact that it's going to be whole neighborhood is kind of scary because I don't want my sims to die without me being able to prevent it.

Taking care of a sim is fun. You can give his life some twist like having a baby ET or killing him and reviving him as a zombie or making him become a werewolf. Or more normal-like thing, like a fire devastating his store and killing everyone in it. Or the most priceless, having a rainbow of ghosts.

hehe, i actually only love modding stuffs in the sims then putting them in the game to see if they fit and that i've done a nice job with in. I hope they make it so we can actually mod the shape of the things in the game without using third party programs.

Modding seems too hard for me....and I don't want it to cause bugs (like that : ), but I do like seeing clothes and haircuts people have created.

That's something I didn't like about 2. Unless you had a cheat you'd either have to turn off all aging or let everyone grow old and die. There was no grow to adult only option.

I don't think a sims 3 was necessary yet. The sims 2 is not yet outdated, and they only just released a new expansion. It seems totally unnecessary to have it.

It was too much of a chore for me to keep my sims with enough aspiration points to keep buying those potions and keep using them. There's so much stuff to do in that game that the last thing I want is another chore.

Well, I'll rethink my previous post, if my friend gets it(I'm guessing she will) if I ever go to her house, I'll probably play it ^_^

I might find it interesting, I like doing Forge in Halo 3(making/editing maps) so I'd probably like it maybe I'll try to find a demo later.

Pamelf is right, Apartment's life is going to be out in a few days and by the time the Sims 3 are available, I don't think that I will have done everything T_T.

Aspiration points are easy to get with a couple : make them go on a date and be sure to realize everything to lead you to the want of woohoo-ing with a sims. After that, the date should be at the max level and all you have to do is end the date xD.
